Bar W Ranch Adds New Home Builder

Bar W Ranch community added Tri Pointe Homes as another builder. Tri Pointe homes will add 152 homes out of almost 1,500 homes in the Leander community. They are joining D.R. Horton Inc., Brohn Homes, and Gehan Homes Ltd as home builders in the community. 

About Bar W Ranch

Bar W Ranch is a master-planned community located along Ronald Reagan Boulevard near Highway 29 and is approximately 30 miles north of downtown Austin. The land is surrounded by beautiful views of Hill Country and ranch land. It’s located only a little more than a mile from the South Fork San Gabriel River frontage, which leads to hiking trails and neighborhood parks. With more than 500+ acres, the community will feature a luxurious amenity center with a pool, flexible lawn space, playground, game courts, and dog park. The HOA will be $125 per quarter. 

The neighborhood will be taxed by five entities: Leader MUD #1, Road, Leander county, school district, and emergency services. When these rates are added up, the tax rate is approximately 2.88% (+- .2). 

The brand new H-E-B Plus will be the building right around the corner of Highway 29 and Ronald Regan, with loads of new infrastructure coming in to rent the spaces available. Also, Bar W will connect to 183A and Frontage going through Larkspur, a neighborhood in Leander. 

Minutes away is Indigo Ridge and Northline. The mixed-use development will offer abundant retail, dining work, exercise, and social opportunities. Bar W Ranch is included in the Liberty Hill Independent School District. Ranch Sienna Elementary and Liberty Hill junior high and high schools are nearby. 

Tri Pointe Homes’ Homes

Tri Pointe will build 152 homes in the neighborhood. In the first stage, 46 homes will have 1,700 to 3,000 square feet on lots 50 to 60 feet wide. Homes in this stage will start in the mid-$400,000 range. This is close to the average home price in Leander. The second phase will have homes below the median price range, starting in the mid-$300,000 range. One hundred six homes will have 1,600 to 2,600 square feet on 40-foot lots.
