Just south on Ronald Reagan Boulevard is Brush Creek Lake Park for water activities for kayaking and fishing. This park also connects to the Brushy Creek Trail, which follows 183A to the park. 

Besides the parks, there are a lot of shopping and dining options off Whitestone Boulevard. Residents can get a meal and go grocery shopping in minutes.
