Expected To Open Fall 2023
The Austin-based Mexican restaurant is beloved across the state, serving the Austin area for nearly 25 years. Lenny Arellano, the chief financial officer for Casa Garcia, remarked that this Leander location would be the chain’s “largest space by far” and is expected to have a 500-person capacity. The delicious Austin staple serves burritos, tacos, enchiladas, fajitas, seafood, and has over 20 beers on tap!
Daddy’s Chicken Shack | Crystal Falls Parkway
Expected To Open Late 2023/Early 2024
The California-based restaurant chain, Daddy’s Chicken Shack, has announced plans to open its very first Austin-area restaurant in Leander! With plans still in development, officials haven’t currently settled on a location, but franchisees are known to be looking for space on Crystal Falls Parkway. Daddy’s Chicken Shack is beloved in California for its chicken sandwiches, salads, sweets, burritos, and waffles!
Cheba Hut | 11620 Hero Way W., Ste. 160, Leander
Expected To Open October 2023
A uniquely themed sandwich shop, Cheba Hut, is making moves to open its first Leander location this fall. The shop is owned by the father-son duo Joseph and Vincent DeMaioribus, with only one other location in Central Austin. With their slogan of “toasted” subs, Cheba Hut features a menu of cannabis-themed sandwiches, in name only. The shop also offers a full bar!
