The Thirsty Chicken – Leander
The family-owned restaurant specializing in chicken and daiquiris is enhancing the meaning of ‘flavor’ in its hometown, Leander! The owners, Sandra Lott and Clifton Lott Jr., transformed their original business – Century Water Solutions – into the Thirsty Chicken so the restaurant could be right in their family’s backyard.
Once all of Clifton Jr. and Sandra’s six children receive a Thirsty Chicken venue, the family plans for the restaurant to become a franchise. With everything made entirely from scratch, this chicken spot is a culinary destination you shouldn’t miss out on!
Rumaan Mediterranean Cuisine – Cedar Park
With a focus on serving delicious Mediterranean food in an authentic environment that differs from the generic quick-service Mediterranean restaurant, Rumaan Mediterranean Cuisine is already a great spot in Cedar Park.
Co-owners Allam Steitieh and Hassan Alsukhni noticed the desire for Mediterranean cuisine in the area and jumped on the opportunity. The authentic food featured at this destination is made by none other than Alsukhni’s wife, Jumana – making it truly a family-run restaurant.
